❗Shifting Your Social Media Strategy During COVID-19 ❗️

SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO POSITIVELY SHIFT YOUR STRATEGY DURING UNCERTAIN TIMES❗️

As COVID-19 continues to spread throughout the world, we’re all faced with making decisions on how to best support those around us, our communities, and our businesses. In the midst of us all trying our best to stay safe and healthy, there may also be questions or concerns regarding how to best support our online communities. We hope these tips and suggestions offer some assistance so that your social media strategy is the least of your worries.

? Communicate With Your Team ?

Before anything else, make sure you check in with your team. Being in communication with all members of your team ensures that once a new strategy has been adopted, everyone is on the same page moving forward.

? Check on Your Audience and Let Them Hear Your Voice ?

This is an important time to build trust within your online community. Your strategy should focus on offering resources, tips, or just the ability to listen to what your audience has to say and questions they may have. It’s also a two way street! Most of us are following guidelines to distance ourselves socially, so your followers may find reassurance in voice memos and video posts.

?? Host Instagram Lives ??

This goes hand in hand with allowing your audience to hear your voice, but Instagram Live takes it a bit further! Being able to see and interact with others in real time can be incredibly important and helpful to your online community, and if you’re up for it, you can even welcome some of your followers to join you on screen.

? Reuse Content and Schedule Ahead ?

Since many of us will be unable to produce new content for some time, it’s a great time to reuse old high performing content. Take the time to schedule out content moving forward, check in on any scheduled posts to ensure they’re still appropriate, and then take a break from social media if needed to take care of yourself and those around you.

We hope these suggestions take some pressure off of how to move forward with your social media strategy in lieu of everything happening in the world right now. Wishing you and your loved ones good health and safety.
